Rocks

Rocks classified based on chemical and mineral composition, with the particle texture and deformation process. There is three kind of rocks:

1.     Igneous rock, formed by coagulation of magma and divided to be plutonic rock and extrusive rock. Plutonic or intrusive formed when magma become cold and slow crystallization happened inside crust (ex: granite). Granite is a felsic igneous rock from the bottom of Bowen's Reaction Series. Meanwhile, extrusive rock formed at the time of magma out to surface as lava then it freezed. (ex: basalt). Basalt is a mafic igneous rock from the top of Bowen's Reaction Series.

2.  Sedimentary rock formed by sediment result from rock materials like organic, chemistry, and it had compaction with cementation. This rock is formed on the surface of earth with percentage; 70% mudrock (shale and siltstone); 20% sandstone and 10% carbonate rock (limestone and dolomitstone).

3.  Metamorphic rock formed by result of alteration from mineral another rock depend on pressure and temperature. Both of them make change of origin minerals.
