Indonesia as archipelago country located in between world big plate, that is plate Indo-Australia, Eurasia, and Pacific has so much sediment basin. The latest study that is Badan Geology Bandung has done, there is 128 sediment basins. Sediment basins located in sea, land, or border both.
There is 10 types of sediment basin :
1. Two type is relation with stable cratonic plate.
2. Two type is expand with divergent plate.
3. Four type is connection with convergen plate.
4. Two other is downwarp basin in narrow sea with unique hydrocarbon inside
